The CIO panel session at the Retail Systems 2006 trade show  featured a candid, enlightening panel discussion among some of the industry’s top technology leaders. Participants included Ken Brame, VP and CIO, AutoZone, Inc., Memphis; Janet Sherlock, director of information technology and CIO, Calico Corners, Kennett Square, Pa.; Josh Jewett, senior VP and CIO, Family Dollar Stores, Inc., Matthews, N.C.; Michael Jones, CIO,Michaels Stores, Inc.; and David Gruehn, industry manager, retail and hospitality, Microsoft, and focused on the transforming role of the CIO from IT operations leader to “Business Change Agent”.
